Under the “Happy Workplace” strategy, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University organized a training program on Best practices in finance, accounting, and procurement.

The program was held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Demonstration Room, 60th Anniversary Building.

The objective was to enhance understanding of the relevant rules, regulations, and operational guidelines related to finance, accounting, and procurement for academic service and research projects. It also aimed to familiarize participants with the protocol for requesting the advance funds and reimbursement. This initiative was designed to support department heads, faculty members, and supporting staffs in carrying out academic and research projects accurately and efficiently, while reducing delays in payment processes.

On this occasion, the project report was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kriangyos Sajcharoenpong, Assistant Dean for Finance, Treasury, and Procurement. The opening was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Prapruddee Piyaviriyakul, Vice Dean for Administration.

The training featured distinguished speakers, including:

  • Prof. Dr. Supachai Nuanualsuwan, Vice Dean for Research, Innovation, and Academic Services
  • Prof. Dr. Natthee Am-in, Assistant Dean for Academic Services
  • Sukontha Thongborisut, Head of the Research and Innovation Task Group
  • Pavika Preenaphavong, Senior Finance and Accounting Officer and Head of the Treasury and Procurement Task Group

The session included experience sharing and a Q&A discussion, enabling participants to effectively apply the acquired knowledge to their day-to-day operations.
