the National Dairy Cattle Festival 2026 at the Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand (DPO)

The Agritech and Innovation Center, Chulalongkorn University (AIC), Saraburi Province, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittisak Ajariyakhajorn, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science (Prof. Dr. Kaywalee Chatdarong) and the Chair Committee of the AIC Project (Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanasak Boonsuem), was granted an audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on the occasion of Her Royal Highness presiding over the opening of the National Dairy Cattle Festival 2026 at the Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand (DPO), Muak Lek District, Saraburi Province.

On this occasion, the Head of the Center reported on the outcomes of an area-based research and development project, carried out in parallel with the establishment of the Chula Dairy School and a Virtual Farm Learning Center (https://www.vetchulalearningcity.com/TRDC2025/). The project resulted in a 23% increase in milk yield, an increase in total income of the development group by 39 million baht per year, and support for 42 small-scale farmswithin the Thai-Danish Lamphayaklang Cooperative. Through an integrated, proactive veterinary service innovation tailored to dairy farming in humid tropical conditions, the project contributes to the sustainable development of dairy farming in Thailand.
