CUVET Welcomes Representative from Texas A&M University to Discuss Collaboration Between the Two Institutions

On October 7, 2026, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University (CUVET) welcomed Prof. Dr. Michael Criscitiello, Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies, Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS), Texas A&M University, USA, during his visit to CUVET to discuss opportunities for strengthening academic collaboration, student and staff mobility, and research cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit, the representative from Texas A&M University toured the CUVET Small Animal Teaching Hospital (SATH) before attending a discussion on potential areas of collaboration between the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University and Texas A&M University. The meeting was held at Conference Room 4, 2nd Floor, Chaiasawarak Building, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University.

The discussion was attended by Prof. Dr. Kaywalee Chatdarong, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, together with faculty executives and academic staff, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chenphop Sawangmake, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; Prof. Dr. Suphachai Nuanualsuwan, Associate Dean for Research, Innovation and Academic Services; Asst. Prof. Dr. Namphung Suemanotham, Assistant Dean for Global Engagement and Secretary to the Faculty Executive Committee and Assoc. Prof. Dr.Teerawut Nedumpun, Lecturer, Department of Veterinary Microbiology. They joined the meeting to welcome and discuss potential collaboration with the representative from Texas A&M University.

The meeting reflects CUVET’s commitment to building and expanding international networks with leading veterinary institutions worldwide, creating opportunities for education, research, student and staff exchange, and the development of future academic collaboration.
